Thank you for choosing to spend some of your precious time with us. We know how valuable it is. I am Michelle Morrison. I am a medium and an intuitive and I support people to make beautiful spiritual connections with loved ones on the other side, with angels and spirit guides, and I love helping people tune into their own amazing intuition spirit guides and I love helping people tune into their own amazing intuition.

Speaker 2:

I am Dr Tara Drummond and I'm a naturopathic doctor and I'm passionate about empowering people in all aspects of health and well-being. Our intention is to create community and connection. We do that with open hearts and connection. We do that with open hearts, minds and a whole lot of love and laughter. We feel so passionately about this you matter, that you are so important and that you belong, and we are creating and connecting to, and so let's walk together fiercely through this beautiful, sometimes really challenging life as light warriors of love. Together, with open minds and hearts, we can create a community where we celebrate, play and thrive. Thank you for being here.

Speaker 2:

Good morning. Good morning Michelle. We are videoing today.

Speaker 1:

Yes, we are videoing today. We are hanging out each in our own separate homes. Today it is a rainy day here, which is really good news. We so need this.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, yeah, I'm excited. I'm excited about today's topic Because, for those people that are newer to here or don't know your whole history, I fell in love with you when I first met you and saw your gifts and talents totally blown away. So you are a psychic medium and I think that this is just so cool that you were born with this gift. And I know when you speak to it you say we're all very intuitive, but you were obviously as a child when you're freaking your parents out, knowing things about people you shouldn't know and stuff, but officially you quit your extra day job and have been doing it professionally, full time for like 12 years, yeah, which is cool. So you have talked to thousands and thousands and thousands of dead people at this point.

Speaker 1:

It's a lot.

Speaker 2:

It's a lot of, it's a lot of dead people talking yeah we count all the ones that are chirping in on your regular day too. So what you do professionally is you connect living people with their dead people and give peace and resolution and connection and all these like it's such a gift to have a session.

Speaker 1:

So what we're going to do today is kind of tease out like the big themes that you've learned over these 12 years, which I'm excited for yeah, yeah, I mean you know we have talked, you know on and off about this through different it's woven, through different episodes that we've done, but I don't think we've devoted an entire episode to what actually happens when somebody passes and transitions and what goes down.

Speaker 1:

And you know, everybody has different beliefs and I'm not here to change necessarily your beliefs, but just perhaps open to a different perspective or maybe, if you even wondered or thought about it, that we can clarify some of those perspectives or maybe confirm some of the feelings or thoughts that people have had like in their own connection with loved ones.

Speaker 1:

And my whole platform is really about the fact that, yes, I can help people communicate with their loved ones, but I so believe that each and every one of us are able to do this, that it is our actually natural born right or it is a natural born ability to be able to continue connection, that the soul just transitions into another form but does not actually die. The vehicle is the body and the body can only go so far and for a lot of different reasons people transition to the other side, but that it does not at all mean the death of the soul, of that being, that that is just another transition. It's another gateway and another way for that soul to continue to grow and evolve. And connection is one of the most beautiful things that we have available to us and I think it can make things a lot less scary, it can make things a little more peaceful and you know you can still get like input or guidance or you know whatever it is that you need and that feels really nice.

Speaker 2:

Yes, and I love you say the word connection because I think for me that's the greatest gift is that that connection doesn't go away, the connection we have with our loved ones and we've done so many episodes talking about connecting with our loved ones, or signs or how to tune into our own intuition so people can go back and explore those where you go into that more. But today we're going to delve into like I want to know more about that passing process. So for the people left behind, like this episode's, for the living people, the people left behind the grieving right Kind of what happens to us when we die, and a bit more about that connection.

Speaker 1:

It's an excellent conversation, and one that I have almost on a daily basis with clients, and so this is bringing all of that information to this, and so you know, if we look at it from this perspective, we are all comprised of energy, tara, and you know we can feel energy, like if we take our hands and rub our hands together. We can feel the heat and the energy that we create with that process. Everything is energy and not all energy you can see. So can I see the energy that I have created in my hands? No, I just see my hands. I don't actually see, like the difference in temperature or something like that. I feel it. I don't see it, but it doesn't mean that it's not there, and so everything has energy around it.

Speaker 1:

If you have walked into, like a store or location, it has an energy and it has a feel, and I'm betting that for everybody listening you included, tara that you have walked into somewhere and you went ew, I don't know what it is, but it doesn't feel good in here, something doesn't feel right. Or you've walked into somewhere and you're like, oh my gosh, like get me a coffee, I want to wander and check this out for a few more hours, like there's a feeling that's really good, right, and so we feel a lot more than we acknowledge and that we're aware of, and that's actually the way that we move through the world. Well, that's all energetic, all of it is energetic. And so when we're no longer able to use the physical body for many, a myriad of reasons and I've learned from doing this that there are so many different ways for people to transition and so, for whatever reason, you're no longer able to use your physical body, the lighter part of you, the energetic part of you, the soul, is released from that physicality and it is still all in being, just in an energetic form. And from my chit chats with people on the other side, what happens when you transition and there are, I mean, I think that you know for each person. The truth is, I believe that maybe it looks just slightly different, but all the same different kind, and maybe it's kind of tailored to you and to who you are and what you are about and your culture and where you live, so that you are comfortable, and that is the big part of it.

Speaker 1:

But these are a couple of the really big hit items that are the same and that seem to be consistent. And that seem to be consistent and no matter if a person has passed either suddenly or it has been a very long and expected transition, whatever the case may be, they always show that immediately that they are surrounded by a form of a spiritual team. So loved ones that have passed before them, that they knew angels and spirit guides, and even if they don't know exactly who all of those angels and spirit guides are, there's an immediate sense of safety or welcoming, or it's okay, there's an immediate sense of it's all right, and that seems to be very consistent, like being shown you know, we're here with you, it's all right. I've even had some people who would show or explain that they didn't know what had happened, that they're living one minute and gone the next, and so, even in the case of a surprise or something that's very sudden or unexpected, that there's an immediate surrounding of angelic support, let's call it. That really brings a lot of peace and comfort in that moment.

Speaker 1:

One of the other themes that they'll show quite often is showing, in the ways that they can like, these beautiful, vibrant colors that are almost like, unearthly like. They're very ethereal, they're very beautiful, very kind of magically, you know, feel to them and and they will often show like these gorgeous, gorgeous colors and how everything is just become so vibrant or bright to some degree, and everyone shows that differently. Some people will show me like fields of flowers and the way that you know all the colors pop and the color of the field. Some people will just show me ethereal kinds of pictures, but beautiful colors typically are a part of that scenario as well, which is really cool.

Speaker 1:

They'll often show like some form of taking, like a short journey, and some people, like Spirit, has a great sense of humor, they love to make people laugh and so showing like you know, I took a plane ride or a train ride or you know something along those lines.

Speaker 1:

Or like going through, like traveling through, like a tunnel, like there's some sort of like little bit of a journey, kind of involved with it, or maybe it's just even a floating upwards, like there's a bit of a journey to their evolution. On the other side that they always show and that is depending on the being that is coming through, and there's an immediate feeling and surrounding of unconditional light and love energy. So there's what they'll explain repeatedly is like all of my worries were lifted, all of like if they were, for example, somebody who was really uncomfortable. They were going through a very serious illness, and so, like your brother-in-law, sebastian, this is one of the things he showed is an immediate lifting of all of that sensation, that immediate release of any discomfort in those kinds of ways, and so that's a really beautiful thing. They also show and this is one of my favorite parts it's honestly like a celebration or a homecoming, and so it's always like there's always so much jubilation, like well done, you did an earth journey, like way to go and it like you know.

Speaker 1:

So it comes across differently, it's shared differently for everybody, but really that's the whole process.

Speaker 1:

It's very much like you did good and there's no like you know.

Speaker 1:

I think this is where religion has maybe done some culture in our society some disfavors is saying, you know, if you weren't good enough, you know you're not going to get into the pearly gates, so to speak, or something I've never been shown that Nobody is denied access and in fact if somebody, for example, who had caused harm in their lifetime to others or possibly many others, we can look at history and think of you know some examples that way that even when they come to the other side, that they are put through a beautiful healing process to be able to understand that from the perspective of source energy, from angelic energy, and to heal whatever happened there.

Speaker 1:

And you know that can be controversial depending on where you sit with things, because if you had somebody who really badly hurt you, I mean we'll say things in our humanity like, oh, I hope you burn in hell, or you know stuff like that and that actually, like spirit will say, well, hell is what you have created on earth in certain ways, in certain aspects, but there is no hell beyond that, so there is only love and healing for no matter what has occurred. So those are some of the really big things. And the other thing sorry, tara, this is the last thing I'll say and then you can ask all the questions you want.

Speaker 1:

The last thing that is very common is a process that is like a life review, and so, again, like people might feel fear, like oh my gosh, like what if my life review is hard?

Speaker 1:

Or if it is, you know, I did, I did something that I regret, or you know, things like that, and what I would just say is I've never been shown a life review yet that has been a very hard or negative experience.

Speaker 1:

It's actually been a very beautiful experience, and so, if you can imagine, like one of the ways actually, I was shown recently that I thought, oh my God, that's so cool. I've never been shown it like that is somebody sitting in like a movie theater and the screen that was played back, all of these experiences that happened in their life to them and they were watching like a movie, but they were watching it through much more compassionate eyes, and so it was really. They said it was so beautiful and so healing to see things from that higher kind of perspective that it was very healing for their soul, and so those are really beautiful messages, and so I know that they'll differ reading to reading, person to person, and I think that there's a lot of things that depend on their, maybe their culture, their belief systems, and because it will be made to be comfortable, to suit you. So it won't be, it won't be so far out or so far-fetched that you'll be like nah, you'll be like right, right, this is, this is how it is so it's a.

Speaker 1:

it's very comfortable.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, feels like relief, right, it feels.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, yeah, yeah.

Speaker 2:

There's an ease to it.

Speaker 1:

yeah, yeah, and it should be right, it should be.

Speaker 2:

Oh, you give me the giggles when you say we don't see the energy, and I was like you're talking to the average Joe there, because you do see the energy clairsentient as well as are you, and so we?

Speaker 1:

I think that that is actually the more. I think, honestly, if we could literally see everything, we'd probably go crazy. I think it would be like having 500 tabs open in your head, and so I think, actually feeling it is quite lovely and I think that is quite a beautiful superpower, yeah.

Speaker 2:

That's so cool Because I know that we'll be recording sometimes. And if I'm just going on, I'm checking out your people.

Speaker 2:

You'll look above me and down and I'm like, oh, my aura is dancing in some way that you can see. Yeah, totally. I love what you shared, michelle, and it's kind of leads me into my next question. I was going to ask you, what do our loved ones most want us to know? And as you speak to this celebration of our return, I think, gosh, if we could pull in that now to our human journey, that there's such a celebration of you're doing it. Yeah, and you say that you get to see your life from this lens of compassion.

Speaker 1:

Yeah.

Speaker 2:

Like if we could pull those that a little more into our human experience of having that compassionate lens.

Speaker 1:

Yeah.

Speaker 2:

And that celebratory energy. Oh yeah, it might lighten our load on this human walk, but let's answer that question what do you see that our loved ones, when you connect with them, most want us to know as we live?

Speaker 1:

Yeah, there's a lot. I mean, it varies, there's can be a lot of different messages, for sure, but I think that you've hit on a couple of really great points here, because this is something even you and I dance with all the time, like trying to look at our own selves through the eyes of more compassion, and you know, and when you hear messages like this, you're like, well, if it's so great on the other side, why do we have to be here? It's so hard, like, what's the point? Like, and and the point is, you know exactly what we spoke about the sensations. So, on the other side, when you are in non physical form and you are a soul, you don't have physicality. You can't feel like I can't, you know, touch the paper. I can't, you know, I can't give you a hug in the same ways that we do. And so we are here for the physicality, the physical sensations of your feet in the sand or the soil or, you know, walking in the hills or kayaking on a lake, like, whatever the things are that you love to do. We are here for that.

Speaker 1:

The challenges that come up are meant to crack us open, so to speak, and help us to bring forward the light. That is the purpose of our journey. If we want to do the long division and divide it all the way down. That is the purpose. We are meant to bring that light to earth in as many ways as we can, and I think that it's not always easy when you get here, and it can take a number of tries to kind of get it right, and that's why you get multiple opportunities. So, at any rate, the things that our loved ones most want us to know is that life goes on, that life is eternal, that there is more, that it doesn't just go dark, you know, and so, like the saying, you only live once cracks them up and they're like that's what you think, that you know that there is more to this and that it really really is a journey of love and light and compassion and joy, of love and light and compassion and joy.

Speaker 1:

And so there are absolutely messages that you know are very consistent in terms of what they want, and they want for everybody on earth to thrive in the best ways that they possibly can, to find joy, to work less, play more to you know, to love one another, to come together in celebration ceremony or just laughter, and it really, really is about all of those things and that's what they want.

Speaker 1:

And so quite often, like even yesterday, I had a client and one of their loved ones that came through was like so excited he had a huge celebration of life, like it was really really quite massive. And not that everyone needs to do that, that's not what I'm saying, but it was such a beautiful message of absolutely like, get together, eat good food, you know, share the pictures and the memories and the laughter, and he's like I did that, like I brought that together, and you know, people who hadn't seen each other for a while reconnected and now they're, you know they're chatting a bit more or something like that. That's what they love, and so the more of that that we can bring to our lives as a whole, we're hitting the targets, yeah.

Speaker 2:

I like that and I'm going to say it. I know we've said that here before. When you talk about the physical body, like what our loved ones want us to know, is the sensation and like I feel so passionate as a naturopathic doctor, about the physical body and how magnificent it is. And I know that being human is really hard and there's a lot of trauma. There's big trauma, there's little trauma, there's repetitive all this that can dissociate us out of our bodies. And when, when we do this healing work and we come back in and we integrate back into our body and can feel safe to be in it, then the sensation is the juicy part, like feeling the warm water on your hands when you're doing the dishes, like feeling the breeze in your hair, going out in nature and smelling the trees, like all of these sensory organs, and to it is for pleasure. Yes, it's like our whole body is for pleasure. It is to hug and to cry and to feel and to walk and to dance and to eat all of these like things that are just for pleasure, for fun, for sensation, because when we leave this vessel you don't get that same experience. So I think that if we can find any purpose to being alive, or anybody that's struggling with this human journey, like can we find simple pleasures in, like putting lotion on our hands or brushing our teeth, or can we return to that sensation?

Speaker 2:

And, uh, we have had death in our family and my son was really young when we lost my brother-in-law, so he's, he's been there with it. We've we've talked big questions and stuff, and I one thing that really gave a good visual is our friend Pearl, who we've had on the podcast before. She said describe it as a mitten to him. So she says you slide the mitten on your hand. Yeah, and this is the human and they're living. And then when they transition, it's like taking the mitten off Body stays behind, the mitten stays behind, yes, but the soul goes on. That's right and I think that's such a nice way of seeing it.

Speaker 2:

So while we are inhabiting a human body, can we go and jump and play and love and sing and and be in that pleasure center of this body, the sensation of it. So I know that doesn't feel attainable or doable for everybody in their bodies and just slow returns to it. I think is this reconnection to ourself and that's part of my journey and what I feel passionate about. But I think you're just bringing it around in that way that our loved ones that have passed have go, go swim in the lake, go right, go do the things with this physical body.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, you just said that all so beautifully and perfectly. That is just exactly how it is and it's so important to dwell on that fact as well. Tara, Like our loved ones, sorry want us to live.

Speaker 1:

They want us to live. They don't. You know they're like. You know they don't want us to long to return back to non-physical. They want us to like. That is our purpose is to be here. We've chosen to be here and maybe we feel lost in a moment. Or, you know, we feel like we're not sure why, or this is too hard. All of those things come up for all of us. Myself I know we've chatted about even this week, like just feeling, like it's a lot sometimes. Yeah, so that's very normal. I want you to know that. But Spirit would say it will always shift, it will always change. You can always choose again, you can always, but stay like love your life and again like there's no judgment there. I'm not here to say that.

Speaker 1:

That you know to judge anybody who has made a different kind of a choice, or you know family members who are living with a family member making a different kind of a choice, but what they do say to me is I do wish that I had lived more full out, like in whatever way that is for them. So they, you know, like there's always it's hard to believe when we're here and we're walking through it and you know we're feeling a lot of chaos and there's a level of concern or worry in the world right now, with some of the bigger superpowers, you know, coming head to head with things. But with all of that, even still, there are so many souls on the other side who are like coach, put me in the game. Like I want to play, like I want to go back, and and we sometimes on this side are going really like are you sure? Because, boy, like yes, there's some crazy stuff out there.

Speaker 1:

Um, but spirit, everybody in spirit would say yes, I want to go. Oh, my gosh, this is exciting. Look at the expansion and all of the amazing things happening and the potential for connection and growth and evolution and tech, you know, even technology like innovation, like yeah, there's a lot of excitement with all of those things. And so, for all of those reasons, um, people want to be a part of it, souls want to be a part of it.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, yeah, I like that. Sorry, and that's where I compare it to a clitoris, because I think this is a part of the body like, just to clarify so I didn't lose people there. This is a part of the body that is designed solely for pleasure, like it doesn't have the burden of doing a lot of functions that the other organs are functioning Like. It's sole purpose is pleasure. And when you take that comparison to the whole body, I'm like we are a huge nervous system sensory system. Like to the whole body, I'm like we are a huge nervous system sensory system. Like. So, if we pull that comparison in that the physical body is meant for pleasure and sensation. And when life feels heavy or hard, like can we find pleasure in pulling up a soft blanket or climbing into a warm tub? Like like soothe your body in these sensory ways too, right and just that's the pleasure of inhabiting a body, so really like to use it to its fullest, right, yeah, yeah okay can I ask you another question?

Speaker 2:

do it this is a question from some friends but and myself. When people pass um from hard circumstances, let's say so whether their physical, physical body has a lot of trauma, or maybe their mind even has a lot of trauma. And we've seen this like even with my grandmother who passed, where their mental faculties fail and you lose the person that you once knew and they're behaving in ways that aren't, that aren't so, let's say, at end of life, somebody's passed and they weren't recognizable, maybe to their loved ones, whether it be mentally or physically, and there's this traumatic way or we didn't get our goodbyes, we didn't get our. What do you say to the ones left behind in those circumstances?

Speaker 1:

Yeah, it's such a great question. I'm so glad that you asked this one. This happens for a lot of people, and I actually think I heard a statistic recently that dementia is even on the rise, which is really awful to hear. It's not what we want for ourselves or any of our loved ones, that's for sure, and so it is a really great question for those reasons, because a lot of people will have experienced this or have heard about it, and so when somebody goes through a process that may cause them to lose cognitive abilities sometimes it's even because of medications that they need to be put on if they're really in a lot of pain it can slow your cognition, but it can also be more serious, like brain diseases and things that can happen that completely change your cognition, and so in this state, what is actually one of the beautiful things that can happen is they may have in their own experience, whether they have boisted or not, they may have within them a level of fear about transitioning, about dying, and so it actually allows them a process of a little bit going back and forth and a little bit having snippets or sneak peeks into what's happening.

Speaker 1:

Now that might not happen like in a timely fashion, like you and I might think or imagine in our heads it happens in their own way, but really it is kind of a gentle welcoming, kind of back home, essentially. And once they actually and quite often it is the mind that is gone, and then the body seems to take its time before it's ready to lift off its glove and be completely done. So the body seems to take its time shutting down. For us on earth that seems like an incredibly long and excruciating process, and for that loved one it isn't quite that bad it is. The suffering is often more with the people watching and witnessing than it is with the actual person. And so know that your loved one is so taken care of and so watched over and like lovingly watched over, really cherished in those times and moments. And when they do fully transition, that is immediately lifted.

Speaker 1:

And so they'll be shown like like.

Speaker 1:

One of the ways that I was shown that really made a lot of sense for me was like I wear glasses.

Speaker 1:

Of the ways that I was shown that really made a lot of sense for me was like I wear glasses and like, so like putting on like, like Coke bottle, like glasses, so you can't see anything through it, and so it's just like a feeling of like frustration of not being able to see clearly or understand clearly, and then once the transition happens, that those are taken off and that it is lifted and so that is so beautiful and so it's really nice to know that. And then quite often in those connections, once the transition has happened, signs can be quite cool, like there can be quite a few of them, because loved ones really want to show I'm okay, like I'm all right, like I'm here, like, and so they can be very, very lovely little communicators showing that they are all right. And they often do feel like they have some things that they'd like to say or, you know, wrap up with family that they didn't able, weren't able to say for one reason or another, that they weren't cognitively able to hold those conversations. Does that answer that for you?

Speaker 2:

Absolutely yeah. I want to elaborate one more too. Let's say it was an unfortunate car accident and the loved ones didn't get to say goodbye and all of that. What would those past people want their ones left behind to know?

Speaker 1:

For sure, and you know, again shown to me in different ways and some people will say, like there can be different ways. So somebody can. That can happen to somebody very young, for example, and that can feel very, very hard on a family, on parents, on siblings, and really feel like an unfinished kind of a life and what spirit and even the soul would say on the other side is it's so much bigger than you think, it's so much bigger than you understand, like there's so much more to it and we are not in charge of how long a life is or what that life plan was. That really is up to the soul and what their agenda is here on the planet. And some people intend to come and be here for a century and others they come and they do their job much quicker.

Speaker 1:

Now, I know that doesn't ease the pain of somebody who has lost somebody so quickly, because I don't mean to gloss over that. It hurts and it's I mean it's unimaginable grief and pain. But there is something bigger on the other side of that and I think that when we need to look for the things that can be bring us a little bit of peace or a little bit of like understanding the bigger questions of why or what was the point or what was the purpose. If we can take it to something bigger, I think that can actually be quite helpful, and so that's one of them.

Speaker 1:

And so every person has their own life plan you have yours, I have mine, your children have theirs. This is just the way that it works, and knowing exactly what a person's life plan is isn't really our business either, and so it isn't really necessarily what I'm shown Like. I'll know and understand ways that somebody wanted to be of service or you know things that they are passionate about or that they care about, but their life plan and what they do, and same with mine and mine, yours and yours is ours, and it really is kind of our own thing, and so it's very personal and it's bigger than just this life. And so they say you're so focused on just one aspect of the soul that you're not seeing the entirety of the soul and the enormity of this being, and it's so much more than that.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, so you would say there's no such thing as unfinished business on earth for a soul. When they pass, they are okay, yes, and they want us to know they're okay and for us to be okay yes, exactly.

Speaker 1:

And some people will say you know, I'm glad that I passed really quickly. That was great way to go, like I didn't, I didn't suffer, I didn't have any pain, I, you know, I, yeah, it would have been great to be able to say goodbye to my loved ones or something like that. But I'm also glad that I didn't know, and and I will have people say that to me it it's hard to comprehend as a human and then it makes you think about your own. You know your, but know this like you have say, like you have choice in this, and so some people will choose like a lengthy kind of departure where they do have time for those deep. You know the kind of departure where they do have time for those deep. You know conversations and things like that. I think that it's very personal and honestly, you can do it however you honestly want, yeah, but and then Spirit would say don't dwell there Like, just live today. Like you know, just live like live your life today.

Speaker 1:

Today, like, don't dwell on you know what might happen to you. Just trust that it, when it does come your time and it is your day, that you'll be just fine perfect.

Speaker 2:

That leads me into my next question. I'm curious what our loved ones want us to know while we're here, because I know there are so many people really afraid of dying All of us, I'm sure. I'm sure we've got that little piece in us some more than others. I'm curious what they want us to know while we're still alive, like how to live best and how to best be prepared for that transition when it comes, so that we can have less fear.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, I think it's such a great question Because we, you know, we are just, we're so meant to be here, right? If you are here, you are meant to be here, and if you are here, you are on your path. And how do you know that?

Speaker 1:

Because you're on it, it's, it's yeah, because you are and maybe you don't love where your path is today, and that's okay. Like we don't, I mean you, you know, have had days where we don't love the path that we're on either, and the the beautiful part of that is our sovereignty and our ability to make choice and to make change if we need to. Um, what our loved ones would most want us to know about living, um, you kind of have said this in in your question, in fact, and and that is you you've heard now that, yes, they want us to be living, and that's the point. Are we afraid of dying? Yeah, and to a degree, like there's a healthy amount of that in there, because you are meant to want to live. You're not meant to come here to earth and go. Okay, I've looked around and I've checked it out and I'm ready to go. You are meant to. So a healthy amount of, you know, not wanting to die is a good thing. So, all in balance, tara. All in balance.

Speaker 2:

you are meant to want to live. Oh, Michelle, that reminds me of like it probably would have been in 2020 in our first season of this podcast. I'm like I feel like we're on the Titanic, headed for an iceberg. I'm screaming, everyone else is still dancing, and then I said something about like are we all? Going down and you're like well, spirit would say, you've done it before. I'm like not the answer I'm looking for.

Speaker 2:

I know. I know I'm sorry, Sometimes I can be so matter of fact about it because you're like what if something happens?

Speaker 1:

like what if there's healthy?

Speaker 2:

amount of fear is good.

Speaker 1:

They want us to want to be here yes, they want us to want to be here for sure, and um and, and you need to want to be here as well and and feel like you have things that you want to still do and accomplish and see and try and taste, and you know all of that is so important and so don't ever lose that part of yourself.

Speaker 1:

But, on the other hand, like how lovely is it to know that, say, something were to happen, you know suddenly, or something were to shift, or you know, or your body goes through changes or you come up against a health challenge or a family member does. How lovely is it to know that you will go on, that it isn't the end, that it's just another transition, and we make transitions so many times and it's just that and I know that when Spirit delivers these messages, like it just seems so easy, and yet when you're the one mourning a loved one, it doesn't seem easy at all. I really get that. But that is the absolute truth is that you know they do say have no fear, like you don't need to worry, like there's a lot of other harder things that you will do, but dying actually isn't the hardest thing that you will do. Living is actually much harder. Yeah.

Speaker 2:

And again stay here.

Speaker 1:

We're not saying anything else. Like you know, stay. But they'll say like you've already done some of the hardest stuff you'll do. Like you know, like it's not as it's not as it's not as threatening as you think or have been led to believe.

Speaker 2:

They can appreciate that being human feels hard. They certainly can. I like that. Yeah, I like that. I like that you highlight that the connection never ends with our loved ones and you're living walking proof of this, as you give. You've given me messages that nobody would know, or little things that seem kind of random to you, but like once you told me that my grandma was putting little rose buds in a crown around my head and my grandma, like she loved little flowers, and you've said hummingbirds, like it's all stuff you would know nothing about. So I know the connection remains. Before we wrap up, can you tell the listeners and viewers how would you best support them in opening up this connection, like looking for signs connecting with their loved ones. How could we call in that connection?

Speaker 1:

You just did. I love it, and so it is the biggest. So what is really important to remember and we have certainly talked about this and you can go back and listen to episodes where we talked about connecting with your angels and spirit guides and things like that when you ask for help, when you ask for connection, and not from a place of desperation, frustration or anger, from a place of gratitude, so not like you. Better show up. You know that's. I mean it's funny, but it's probably not going to work. Yeah, show up. You know that's. I mean it's funny, but it's probably not gonna yeah, yeah and demanding, not gonna work, but with gratitude.

Speaker 1:

when you ask, with gratitude thing, and I so I always say thank you so much for surrounding me, thank you so much for being with me, thank you so much for these beautiful signs. And what I would also say that I know is different about me, tara, and that I know like is so important when I share and teach this information, is you have to get past the part of yourself that is thinking something is just a coincidence, the doubt, yeah, the doubt, yeah the doubt, and so it's like you know, if something happens that catches your eye, if something happens like that, you see and you bring meaning to, and that you are passed.

Speaker 1:

There was an owl on our back fence, and that doesn't happen, like we don't, you know we don't. I mean there are owls out back further away. They're not typically in my yard, and this owl was in my yard and I got up and, because it was summertime, the windows were open and I opened the blinds and I was just staring at this owl and this owl gave me eye contact, and so I don't take that as, oh, that's cool, there's an owl in the yard. I was like that's a sign. And so, for each and every one of you, you'll have signs, maybe not that one in particular, but there'll be others, and there are certain signs that are very, again, consistent, and what I love to encourage people to do actually is, when you're living, is to say, like these are signs, like if I you know, if I'm ever, when I'm on the other side, when that day comes, these are signs I'm going to show you, but it will typically relate to that person somehow, or it will somehow, like, make you immediately question or wonder, and as soon as you're in the questioning or the wondering, please move past the doubt and know that that's true. So numbers, number sequences, are really big, like seeing the same numbers, seeing like the same coin all the time.

Speaker 1:

Hearing a certain song Songs can be huge. When my girlfriend, jackie, her mom, passed away a few years ago as well, and the day that she passed on my, I climbed into bed and I usually put a meditation on at sleepy time and I was setting up to do that and on came. It's a Beautiful World, by God, she's going to hate. I hate when I can't remember stuff. It's such a beautiful world and this song played and I'm like I don't know, like do I even have that in my library? Like how did this even happen? Like how did that even show up?

Speaker 1:

And for three nights in a row that song showed up when I would go to open up my meditation app and it was just like so random, so bizarre, so cool, and so it's things like this and so you can't doubt and just think it's a coincidence or you know something like that. You got to move past that and see that this is absolutely truth. Like this is true connection and so yeah, so I love signs from animals personally. I love signs from birds. Numbers, feathers, coins, all of those things will show that flashing lights, things happening with electronics songs playing randomly, all of that stuff can happen. They can influence all of those things to occur, because it's energy.

Speaker 2:

And I love that you said in threes too, because you would say that if you're feeling a bit skeptical, you're like show me it again, like let the sign come a couple times and for myself, like opening your mind that it's not going to come exactly as you may expect. So be open to seeing it in other ways. And it reminds me of you did a reading with a client and you said that their loved one was going to show them hummingbirds. And this woman reached out to you right after leaving her appointment because, uh, telus utility truck came up next to her and it had this huge hummingbird on the side of the vehicle. So she's thinking like whatever, it's not the season for hummingbirds, da da, da, da da.

Speaker 2:

And within 20 minutes of leaving you, she's like there's this huge hummingbird picture. So I think that, like trusting these things because I spent so long, right, I've done. Oh, that's just a coincidence, coincidence, whatever. But when you get bopped on the head with enough coincidences, you go okay.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, I surrender, yeah, exactly. Yeah, I trust yes exactly Loved ones coming in dreams is a really big one as well. So a visitation in a dream, even if you don't like, even if you just see the person and you don't say words, but you saw them like those are real connections, those are true connections, yeah.

Speaker 2:

I love that. Yeah, yeah, true connections, yeah, I love that.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, yeah.

Speaker 2:

Oh, this is beautiful. This really opens it up.

Speaker 1:

Yesterday in a reading, I had the strangest picture come forward that I had never seen before and I'm like this is so random, this is so bizarre. But I'm being shown a picture of what I consider to be a cartoon grasshopper and it has really big eyes. Does that mean anything to you? And she goes. I was at that tattoo artist yesterday and that's the one I'm going to get and it's a cartoon grasshopper with big eyes and I'm like shut the front door.

Speaker 2:

Can't make that up, it's insane.

Speaker 1:

It's insane, and so that was meaningful to her and her loved one, right. But like it's incredible, it's crazy. So the connections are there, they are real and it's just a matter of you know, opening up your heart and your perspective to consider that there might be just more to this world than we can see.

Speaker 2:

Thank you, Michelle.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, that's beautiful.

Speaker 1:

I think that you know, before we close off, the thing that I'll say, because you're, you know, asking the questions and curious. You know we do share a similar destination in that one day we all will take that oven mitt off and you know we all will transition and go back to our non-physical form. And you know, when that time does come, to know that you will not be alone. There will be no aloneness in it and there'll be no judgment. You will only be met with love, unconditionally, so much light and and and so much love, like more than you can even fathom. And so know that, for loved ones of yours that have transitioned and gone to the other side, that that has been their experience and and that they are okay.

Speaker 2:

What a way to end, Michelle.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, thank you so much for joining us today and taking time to listen and tune in, and we would love to hear your thoughts, your experiences with connecting with your loved ones, and signs that you have received, and so we'll look forward to hearing and speaking about that on our Instagram page at Walk Together. Fiercely, I think that when we are so meant to live here on earth and to complete our earth mission and you might be wondering I'm not sure what my earth mission is, maybe or maybe you're very clear on what it is Either way, you're doing your mission because you are here and when you live with kindness and respect for others and you bring the most light and love and compassion to the world that you can, that you are doing an incredible job. It doesn't have to create massive ripples in your mind. It's doing it energetically, more so than you know, and so your being here, the beautiful brand of magic that you bring and that you share, is exceptionally amazing, and you are so loved and appreciated and cherished for all that you are. Don't ever forget that, and so thank you for sharing this episode with your family or friends and helping us to get our podcast out there a little bit more. We really appreciate when you take time to do this, and we so look forward to speaking to you next time.

Speaker 1:

Before we go, let's take a moment for a breath of peace, of peace, take a nice deep cleansing breath and, if you are able, you can close your eyes and take your left hand and place it on your heart chakra, at the center of your chest, and just taking a moment to just be with yourself, to be present, and if you could imagine your source energy, your own angels or your loved ones beaming at you right now with an immense amount of love and light and appreciation. Know that this is true. Let their light and love and energy fill you to heal any places that need healing, to bring peace to any places that need peace and honor the parts within you that are able to make those deeper connections, letting them know that you are willing. Thank you for being with me, thank you for supporting me, thank you for helping me to see the light and love within and all around me, and so it is Until next time. Only love and light to you, and only love and light from you.
