One of the messages that we are getting of late is to work on our emotional intelligence.   There are many aspects to our emotional intelligence and we have decided to do a series of podcasts on awareness and strengthening our own emotional intelligence.  As we move into the coming transitions that we will see in 2024, it is so incredibly important that we can flex and flow with change and to cope effectively with a very fast paced world.  It is how we deal with the stressors in life that can lay the foundation for all other activity and everything that happens day to day.  Developing these parts of ourselves requires self awareness and the filtering of sensory stimulation in healthy ways so that we are not triggered by everything happening around us.  Self regulating is just one aspect of emotional intelligence and involves the ability to rebound from disappointments and to be able to move forward with your values intact, staying grounded, perhaps taking a pause, rather than knee jerk reacting to everything in life.  Can you remember times when you did have a knee jerk reaction to something?  Can you think of times when you did take a pause before proceeding and how different the experiences were between the two responses?   So interesting!  So let's chat about it, let's Walk Together Fiercely through Self Regulating as a huge part of your emotional intelligence.
